Matching original pair of 8 1/4 tall Kralik Honeycomb c. 1900 Art Nouveau Bohemian art glass vases (2). Signature honeycomb pattern manipulation of glass by this maker.

You can see there are imprints which have then been pulled in the blowing, so some mould work. You see it also visible on the bottom of each face - the molten iridescent glass pressed onto a mould. The result is, as you can see, exceptionally beautiful and runs the iridescence in waves and across the irregular surface of the glass. Lots of photos to show the various views.

The pair came to me together out of France, and will remain together. I will not sell them separately.

They actually work surface reflections side by side that are not quite as pronounced if one were to be displayed separately. Full measurements noted on the photos. Very good to excellent condition throughout. No chips nor hairlines, no cracks and no surface imperfections that are not just the inherent glass.

I had wondered about one which looked almost like a scratched "H" on one base, (see the enlarged image with XX) but I feel certain it is a natural occurrence in the pulling of the glass. The upper rim is slightly rough to the fingertip, but it is just the natural cut of the irregular and intended width of the glass.
