LOETZ PETITE IRIDESCENT ART NOUVEAU GLASS MINIATURE JEWELED VASE, c. 1900

This listing is for a gorgeous antique Loetz "oil spot" iridescent Art Glass miniature vase, beautifully embellished with turquoise and ruby glass cabochon jewels (gems) with elegant hand painted enameling around the neck or collar area in relief, c. This nice vase is in condition with no chips or cracks, however, it appears that the top has been cut down. It should have a slightly protruding neck above the gilded area.
The cutting has been professionally done and displayed as a cabinet vase, this alteration will not be noticed. Measures 4 1/4" high with a top diameter of 7/8", maximum width is 2 3/8" and the base is 1 3/8" in diameter. Loetz produced very few petite vases and they are especially rare with the applied Art Nouveau decoration.
