Antique 1920s Art Deco Victorian Nouveau Glass Pendant Chandelier Hanging Light

  

Gorgeous Art Deco prismatic glass pendant chandelier. This chandelier is original as found and works perfectly. The prismatic glass Art Deco globe is in fair condition without breaks or cracks. The white enameled bottom half has its fair share of scrapes/scuffing/fading on the sides and bottom of light, and some slight aging discoloration in areas as you would come to expect for a light that is circa 100 years old. That being said its beauty speaks for itself.

There is age related antique patina and ware on the metal pendant pole and caps also. The light is beautiful as is or to refinish if one chooses to do so.

Either way its a beautiful original center piece. This particular style of lights were used in commercial settings such as Banks, Halls, and other Metropolitan settings of that era. These gorgeous lights are almost extinct this day and age and was a very rare treat to have saved this original example. There are plenty of imperfections as stated but that does not take away from its sheer beauty and presence and very worthy of building restorations were authenticity is a must, or for any room it is placed.

Please note that for antiques this age there are all sorts of imperfections but in a sense that's what makes them so sought after, you can literally see its 100 years of life. If you desire pristine and perfect this would not be the right lighting choice, and may want to consider new. MEASURMENTS- APPROXIMATELY 33" INCHES FROM CEILING TO BOTTOM OF LIGHT, 12" INCHES DIAMETER. GLASS PORTION MEASURES APPROX- 9 1/2 INCHES FROM TOP CAP TO BOTTOM OF LIGHT. The chandelier holds 1 standard size bulb.

This is a gorgeous surviving piece of lighted functional art from the iconic 1920s art deco era. Amazing that this light is Circa 100 years old! The photos show the chandelier well, so I'll let them take it from here. More photos available upon request.
